Got some things done early, before the heat and humidity set in.  At first the weatherman predicted lower temperatures, but have since reset that prediction to higher ones.
We had a few drops of rain last night, so few you could count them as you walked around outside.  Cats came in wet, was our first clue that the heavens may have opened up – but it wasn’t by much.
Ruth 4:13 So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bare a son.
I realize I wrote on the Abortion topic yesterday, but it bothered me throughout the day and long into the night.  It still bothers me today.
As I lay in bed last night these victims kept coming up before me.  They are happy with Christ, but that doesn’t excuse their life being brutally taken from them.
The world is hardened to the plea of those that would remind them that these are human beings, these are babies in the likeness of God and we outrage Him and defile His Word when they are forcibly killed and taken from the womb.
As I lay in my bed, warm and secure, I thought about these babies, warm and secure in the womb of their mother being violated and wrenched out as if they were a wart on a finger.
I was reminded of the following heads of governments that are notorious for their killing of the innocent:
Hitler’s Germany’s government attacked and killed 10 MILLION innocent people.  Because they felt they were beneath them; because they had mental and physical deficiencies, because they were enemies of the state – they sanction 10 Million murders.  And of course that doesn’t count the numbers of young men and women who were killed while they wore the uniform of their country in the war.
Stalin’s Russia/USSR government attacked and killed 20 MILLION innocent people.  For basically the same reason.
Mao Zedong’ China’s government executed over 5 MILLION of their people and allowed another 20 MILLION to die of starvation.
Then of course we have multi-millions of Chinese babies killed because of the policy one family, one child.  We don’t know the numbers but they are probably considerably higher.
Germany:  10 Million
Russia:   20 Million
China:    25 Million
Total:    55 Million
There are other countries who have passed laws or instigated the deaths of hundreds of thousands and even millions of innocent people because they didn’t deem them worthy to live.
We look at these countries and we decry what they did to their citizens.  Yet, many countries still have governments condoning the death of their citizens.  Still deeming them no better than rats which must be killed to prevent disease and should have no consideration because they are but a blight on the nation.
We get upset about it, often though, we just hide our heads from it so we won’t get too disturbed.  It is just like the hundreds of thousands of Christians and Jews who are being persecuted by governments around the world, we remain relatively quiet, we don’t want to cause problems for America.
We don’t want to offend anyone.
Still in all, the worst in history are Germany, Russian and China with their more than 55 Million deaths combined.  They were/are barbaric and need to be brought into line.  It was and is despicable the number of innocent people they have murdered.
Yet, in American, under our government, condoned and financed by our legislatures, executive branches and courts over 55 MILLION babies have been killed.
55 MILLION the amount of murdered innocent people by the worst regimes we can think of, yet AMERICA is nip and tuck with them.
That coupled with the myriads of open sinful behavior that is also condoned or sanctioned by our governments, promoted by society leaders and media moguls it is no wonder America is undergoing turmoil and destruction.  And it is just the beginning.
Where America was blessed by God for decades and even centuries, in the past 60 years, and particularly the past decade or so, we have gone into a quagmire of sin and corruption where the very thought of God has become repulsive.
God is removing His blessings from our lands.
Israel, the home of God’s chosen people, also fell from God and as a result, after a multitude of warnings He withdrew His protective hand from them and they fell.
Only by repentance could their nation be redeemed.  And without repentance we are not far behind.
God has incredible mercy and grace, yet:
Proverbs 1:24-29 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord:

Let us not forget, this is God’s world, not ours; He wrote the rules, not us.  In disobeying and mocking the Word of God America has placed itself in a state of apostasy, confusion and destruction and if He completely withdraws His hand we will find we are no better than other great governments that fell in the past due to their own degenerate behavior.
May God have mercy on our nation; may our people return to Him and lift Him up to His rightful place in our Country’s life.
Later, Art :-)
