Galatians 3:26-29

Galatians 3:26-29
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

God doesn’t look at our past to determine our standing in Him.  His only concern is what we have done and are doing with His Son.
Many of the Jews were (and many still are) sincere followers of God and His Law.  They strive(d) to follow the directions of God and live for Him.  However, they had to provide sacrifices to God for their sins.  If they broke any of the Laws of God, then they were guilty of breaking them all.  They lived with a heavy burden, striving to serve but without the freedom Saving Grace gives them.
Jesus freed everyone from the Law, freed us from the fear of even the slightest mistake against God.  That does not mean we have the freedom to offend God, but it does mean we are not bound by many of the Laws that the Jews were compelled to obey to please God.  Our sins are immediately forgiven because of the sacrifice Christ made.  We have direct communication with God because of the acceptance of that sacrifice.  Where those of us that were not of the Jewish religion were outside the circle of God’s direction, all of us are now under the protection of His Love and Guidance.  As all the Jewish people, we are now considered of Abraham’s seed and entitled to all the promises God made to him.
