Went out to feed the birds this morning and almost landed on my behind.  These past few days in our neck of the woods we have had snow, freezing rain, warm up – just enough to melt the snow a little – cool down which makes the water standing on the snow an ice that is slicker than ever.
It is pretty today, got up to 47 degrees in Carla’s garden while it was 41 in the shade on our porch.  No clouds in the sky so we may very well get that 21 degrees forecasted – or even lower.
This coming week is supposed to be very cold, we should have temperatures in the single digits – I know Linda, Burns has been there for quite a while, as has many areas others are living in.
Just not as used to it as we were in Central Oregon, after all we have now lived over 2/3rds of our life up here – hard to believe.  AND there is a lot more moisture up here which makes it worse.
Not complaining, enjoy it up here.
Cats are finding nice warm spots, windows looking out at the garden, and birds – keeps them occupied.
Carla goes in late today, closing the store.  At least she can watch Stanford vs North Carolina this afternoon – at the moment Stanford is ahead, but the game isn’t over yet, just hope it stands, or they get another score.

2 Corinthians 5:16-21 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. KJV
not imputing their trespasses unto them;
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Every once in a while, I will be awake in the 0-dark-thirty hours and satan starts hammering me with ALL the things I have done wrong.  He will bring things up from my memory that happened 30-40-50 and even years farther back and try and tell me I am a sinner who doesn’t deserve to be called a Christian.
I remind myself that those sins were covered by the blood of Jesus and try and ask God to cast them away from me – usually successfully.
And, satan may give up for a bit, but I know he will try again, and I remind myself of verses like these, Jesus died for me so that I am reconciled to God.
He didn’t just say, that’s okay, I have forgiven you.  He has faith in us, He makes US His Ambassador.  Ambassador of a country is “a diplomatic official of the highest rank sent by one country as its long-term representative to another.”  Encarta Dictionary.
God has made us His Ambassador to our families, our next door neighbor, our block, city, county, state, country, indeed the world.
As Ambassadors are expected to always put their country first and represent it to the very best of their abilities; who do all they can to maintain the proper protocols and when they speak it is if the President or Prime Minister or King of their country is speaking.
We need to be that dedicated to our God.  He has given us the privilege, honor, authority and responsibility to represent Him to the very best of our abilities.
Later, Art (-:
