It is supposed to be cooler for
the whole week – that will make it much easier to get things done.
Not much else going on, so I
will leave you with my meditation thoughts.
Jeremiah
32:17 Ah Lord God!
behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched
out arm, and there is nothing too hard for
thee:
Acts 17:24-26 God that made the
world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth,
dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
25 Neither is worshipped
with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life,
and breath, and all things;
26 And hath made of one
blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath
determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their
habitation;
This morning, as I was waking
up, I was thinking about the air I was breathing. As I started my meditations this morning,
these verses are the ones that came to me in my studies.
We know that we must have air to
breath or we will not live more than a few minutes. We know that the air better contain Oxygen or
it is worthless to us.
We know we can measure the
efficiency of our body to absorb and use oxygen with a small device placed on
our fingers. If the device says we are
only using 89% or less we are in trouble so we add oxygen to our system.
We know that all animals must
have oxygen to survive.
We know that all plants must
have carbon dioxide to survive.
When we look at what scientists
have discovered about the makeup of our air – pure, not polluted – we have the
following:
Nitrogen is 78+%
Oxygen is almost 21%
Carbon Dioxide is .03%
There are, of course, other
components.
Obviously nitrogen is important
for the earth’s inhabitants both animal and plants.
But how were the percentages
determined?
Why is nitrogen the greatest
percentage, almost four times that of oxygen?
When we look at the size of
trees, how can they grow, let alone survive on air that is just .03 percent
carbon dioxide?
How did the symbiosis between
animal and plant life come about?
Plants need animals to provide
the carbon dioxide needed to live.
Animals need the oxygen provided
by the plants to live.
Without the one, the other will
not survive.
The religion of evolution says
it all came about by an unknown process over billions of years. All starting with a piece of non-organic
matter, exploding - but where did the matter come from?
Plants came first, how did they
exist for billions of years without carbon dioxide?
How did these measurable
components come together with such precision in the amounts necessary for life
on earth?
Then of course we must consider
that there is a way the air is processed by the animals and plants. How did that come about if it was all just
happen stance?
I have yet to hear anyone say
that man is not a complex being.
Everything about us is beyond anything a man can create – yet we listen
to the proponents of evolution proclaim it just happened.
We watch, often laughing, as we
see the designs of men in creating a flying machine. They worked hard over their drawings and
materials. Finally someone noticed the
design of the bird’s wing and once it was incorporated into the plan, the
machine eventually flew.
The first airplane and today’s
airplane are similar in some ways but, the latter has become more sophisticated
and efficient.
That didn’t just happen; the
laws of physical science (designed or just happened?) were included by the
designers. They tested and proved each
component that went into the machines.
The plane started on a piece of
paper, drawings of each part by engineers so the workman could build the
machine. It is precise, it is detailed,
each piece is important for safe operation of the plane.
It didn’t just happen.
Yet, we are to believe that this
earth and all that is within our view, the things on earth - the entire universe
– stars, planets galaxies – in paths that can be followed and predicted, just
happened.
There was no plan; there was no
creator, it just happened.
If it just happened as man, in
his finite wisdom, has determined that nothing planned it, if nothing planned it
then there is no creator, if there is no creator then there is no God.
If there is no God, then man is
in control of his own life.
Amazing the steps man will go to
deny God’s existence and authority over us.
Evolution is just one more tool
in satan’s armament to keep people from accepting God and His Son, Jesus.
Sadly, he is far too successful.
But not as successful as he wants to be.
Genesis
1:1 In the beginning God
When we lose sight of that fact,
first God, we really are no better than the lowest animal on the planets, as the
evolutionists tell us.
Genesis
1:27 So God created man in his own image, in
the image of God created he him; male and female created he
them.
The world denies that. Satan is using his lies to convert more and
more people over to his side – we are seeing the results of that conversion
taking over America today.
Satan must be rolling over with
laughter and glee. He is indeed taking
down America as well as the rest of the world – he is getting his revenge on
God. How excited he must feel, how proud
he must be as he watches the world disintegrate into confusion.
But his lies do not change the
facts.
God is God, has always been God
and will always be God. Nothing man does
will change that.
Malachi
3:6 For I am the Lord, I
change not;
Christians are the most
persecuted people, at this time in our world.
Many are undergoing incredible torment in various forms.
However, more and more men and
women are realizing that Jesus is the only means whereby they can enter
heaven.
Despite this persecution and
desire to hush up God’s servants, Jesus is still the Savior and the Holy Spirit
is moving all over the world to bring people to Him.
The more successful the Holy
Spirit is, the harder satan and his minions must work to offset it.
Let us not forget those that are
struggling and are being challenged for their faith. Hundreds of Christians are being punished,
every day, for Christ. They need our
prayers.
Luke 21:35-36 For as a snare shall
it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole
earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and
pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that
shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of
man.
Later, Art :-)
