Finally got the blackberry syrup canned this morning, let it rest a couple of days.  The thickening agent isn’t in it as you are not supposed to use it, but when we open the jars we will add it then and look forward to some nice blackberry syrup on our pancakes and French toast – and of course Ice Cream!
Getting snow up on the mountain, hope it continues for a while and gives us a good snow depth for spring.  Down here it is foggy and chilly – that biting kind of cold that penetrates to the bone because of the moisture.
Still and all, I will take it.
Psalm 56:11-13  In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
12 Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.
13 For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
Psalmist knew that God would keep him close to Him.  He would walk with Him as he walked in this life.
There is strength in the knowledge, alone; but, when you trust in Him as you walk you find that He indeed does help you.
You may stumble and falter at times, but He is there to lift you up and keep your feet on the solid ground of faith in Him.
Jude 24-25 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

We have that same promise through Jesus that the Psalmist asked for in the Old Testament.
God reaffirms that those that trust in and follow Him will prevail.
The way is not always easy, and it is often filled with trials, tribulations and even traps that try to lure us from Him – but faith in God will keep us upright, standing and praising God.
Even in the midst of these obstacles we can rest assured that He is there with us, and we will not only persevere but be triumphant and victorious – and our Joy will be even more as we successfully serve Him.
His measurement on our service is not the quantity of work, but the quality of the work we do.  It starts with complete obedience to Him, and while we at times might feel we are not making headway, we are – He is using us to reach others, even if that others is just one person, and we may not even understand who that person is, but by our being faithful he comes to the throne of God.
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
