Watched the College National
Championship last night. Disappointed
that Oregon did not win, but Ohio State won convincingly. They have some outstanding players that
Oregon could not defeat and Ohio State dominated the playing field. They were, without doubt, the better
team.
Now we shall see who the
Pro-Football National winner in the Super Bowl is in a couple weeks. All four teams are deserving.
Now for some puttering around
the house.
Genesis
1:27 So God created man in his
own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he
them.
God created man on the sixth day
of Creation. He was an adult who was
fully formed; he walked, talked and had intelligence. From all of creation, God created man
separately from the rest.
I was reading an article the
other day, the “Dicer Enzyme keeps DNA on Track,” in the January 2015 in Acts
and Facts, a Creationist centered magazine.
It was discussing a microscopic organism in the body – the mitotic
spindle apparatus – according to one evolutionist’s web site it “is arguably the
most complicated piece of machinery in existence.
One of its purposes is to
actually repair tangles in our DNA automatically: “One of these DNA repair enzymes acts as a
molecular scissors to cut DNA at damage points and resolve tangles that can form
when things go wrong. This must be done
with great specificity in order to restore the DNA code to its previous state
and not generate mutations.”
Could God actually have created
such a complicated thing as the human being with all its intricacies in one
day? Why not, if we can believe God is
God and is capable of doing anything – this would not be beyond His
capabilities.
Any part of man points to a
designed creature. Whether it be the
skin that isn’t just a covering of muscle, bone and organs, to the minutest cell
which is far more complicated than man had believed possible.
The body continues to cast of
cells and replace them with new ones that make up each individual person. Much of what is done within the human body is
done by the body itself; as it has been since Creation. Man now has the ability to operate, to
introduce other things into a person’s body, but the body itself is pretty much
in control of itself.
I heard a comment on TV the
other night about the ludicrous statement that if you put a hundred monkeys in a
room of typewriters eventually you will have the complete works of
Shakespeare. Says who? With what authority? Has there been even an inkling of truth to
that statement? Yet, look how many years
that ‘argument’ has been given in support of evolution.
It is just one more statement
that supposedly makes the religion and faith of evolution more understandable.
Everything in existence just happened in
existence, there was no plan, no person overseeing the creation of anything, it
just all came about by happenstance.
Just as putting those monkeys in a room will eventually produce
Shakespearean quality plays so our world came about.
While there are many scientists
who ascribe to the religion of evolution, more and more intricate instruments
are showing that incredible complexity of the things in this world. AND many more scientists are joining those
that have the understanding that there indeed is a creator – they may not
ascribe that description to God, but they have accepted the fact that something
created us.
As we look at films, television
programs, read articles and books we find men trying to justify their belief
that the Bible is not accurate and/or is not God’s Word. They throw in their own biases as they write
– some trying to show that what happened in the Bible was accurate, to an
extent, but was caused by natural occurrences rather than the miracles of God;
others just trying to discredit God completely.
Both depictions are an attempt to portray man is in control, not God.
Acts
14:15 And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like
passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities
unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things
that are therein:
Satan uses whomever he will to
further his goal of complete control over us and the destruction of God. He did it with Adam and Eve in the garden and
has continued to do so since.
He doesn’t care who he uses, all
he has to do is create a doubt in someone’s mind and then fill it with
falsehood, either have truths or complete lies.
He has and continues to use
leaders in spiritual organization as well as governments, anything to further
his goals. The religion of evolution has
become one of his favorite lies in trying to discredit God and His
followers.
I have heard the argument that
the professors in our colleges, the articles written in scientific magazines are
all in favor of evolution. That if these
people, with high qualifications are the only one writing, then it must be
true.
First, they are not the only
ones writing. Second it is like the
statement that the Communists used to make about their teachers – they were all
communists. Of course they were, only
communists could teach.
While I have difficulty
understanding all the issues and how the Creation Scientists can prove their
support of a young earth and the truth of Genesis, I can accept that God is in
charge, He had, has and will always have a plan for His Creation.
Later, Art :-)
