My prayers go out to all the victim’s, the heroic first responders and the families of those that lost their lives or were traumatically injured on this date 2001.
2 Corinthians 4:7-11  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

As we remember the attacks on our nation on September 11, 2001, both the Twin Towers and the Pentagon and the desire to attack our Nation’s Capital may we remember the grace of God this nation has enjoyed.
May we also remember the millions of fellow Christians that are enduring persecution, loss of property, family and life that is still occurring all over the world.  May God continue to send His Holy Spirit to comfort and guide them in their tribulations.
Americans are not alone in our trials; as Christians we are not being singled out for our believes over other countries – many of our brothers and sisters in Christ are enduring and overcoming far worse treatment.
While we must never forget those that lost their lives in this terrorist attack, may we also remember that dozens, even hundreds, of Christians are losing their lives every day because they refuse to compromise their stand for Christ.
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

We share Christ, let us also share the burden for these Christians.  They live with the real threat of torture and death every day, yet they remain steadfast in the service of our Lord.
Galatians 6:1-3 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
