Fog has set in this morning.  Visibility is very short and we cannot see the other side of Mt Hood Street.  It is like we are enveloped in our own little world where nothing can penetrate the peace and quiet.
However, it appears it will soon dissipate as the sun struggle to burn its way through and clear the sky.
Blaze is sleeping on the couch next to one of the cats, he likes to play the tough guy, but they all see through His bluffs.    Art :-)
Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
While we cannot begin to fathom all of the aspects of God, He does give us glimpse into His character and His expectation of man.
Throughout His Word we find His commands, His frustrations over the disobedience of man, His patience, His love, His discipline of those who refuse to follow and obey.
We see Him in the lives of the great heroes of the Bible and those that are everyday people like us. We see His desire that all men would be perfect as He is perfect, but the willingness to forgive when we are not.
We see His guidance and direction to those that follow Him.  While there may be difficult times that come to us, particularly when we stand for Him, He promises us that He will be forever with us.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 gives us the essence of God – His love is so great that He gave His only Son for us.  The whole Word of God points to this fact and show us His Grace to us.
It is the summation of the entire Word, from Genesis to Revelations and reaffirms His desire that we be with Him always.
While we go about our daily lives, we can rest assured that through the acceptance of this great gift we will be in His presence forever.
Later, Dad :-)
