Snow on the
flat part of our property is almost completely gone, just the piles and those in
shadow areas where sun doesn’t make it are still around and they are quickly
melting. So our neck of the woods
‘looks’ to be preparing for Spring – however, we ‘might’ have some more in the
coming days and the mountains definitely will – even the passes are supposed to
have some on the road.
Looking at
the Crater Lake Web Cams (http://www.craterlakelodges.com/webcam/) and seeing
that the parking lot next to the Lodge has a snow pile in the middle that has to
be at least 12 feet high. The road going
into the south side of the park also has a lot of snow on the shoulders, saw a
car on it yesterday and it looked like a toy.
Good News for
that part of the state for agriculture with even more snow in the forecast. AND it is purty!
Still waiting
for Orthopedics to call – whatever needs to be done I would like it quickly so I
can give Carla a hand in her garden, right now any strain on that side results
in a non-productive process.
Looking out
the window to a dull day, low clouds, no sun and no wind. It is one of those days that seems to say,
‘gotta rest up a bit, not sure whether I will give you sunshine or showers’ we
shall see.

Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not
your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are
higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts
than your thoughts.” KJV
Proverbs
25:12 “ Seest
thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of
him.” KJV
Both verses
showed up in my devotionals today.
A reminder
that when we forget the former, we commit the latter and sell both our God and
ourselves short.
Which,
unfortunately, I have done way too many times.
Later, Art
