Met with the new doc yesterday, she seems okay, trying to get used to a lot of new patients and it will take her a while.  As she looked over my reports from the hospital she stated, “You were a very sick man!”  I didn’t disagree.

Doing better but the residual effects, she says, are common and I am doing better.

Do miss Ben, though.

Hard to believe September is over – been such a short month packed with a lot of ‘stuff.’

Looking forward to what awaits us in October!

Haggai 2:6-7   For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

⁷ And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.

God has been around for a while.  Nothing is new or unusual to Him.

Governments turning against Him, He has been there.

His children refusing to obey Him, He has been there.

Religious people using their positions for self-gratification and gain, He has been there.

Following of false gods and denial of His existence, He has been there.

Patience and trying to convince governments, and His people to repent and once again come to Him, He has been there.

Destruction of these same governments, religions, people, yep, He has been there.

We have been warned so many times and in so many ways that if we don’t change our ways, if we don’t listen to Him, if we continue denying His existence and His authority over us as a nation AND as individuals He will bring home our rebellious nature to us and He will take whatever steps are necessary to show He is quite ‘serious’ about His rightful place in our universe.

He has done this with nations and rebellious people before AND He will do so again.

Hebrews 12:26-29 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

²⁷ And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

²⁸ Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

²⁹ For our God is a consuming fire.

We must insure that we are not going to be among those that are shaken; those that can be destroyed because of our lack of faith and obedience to Him.

We know that there are more and more of us that are believing the wrong things, that are twisting God’s Word into meanings that are just the opposite of what He has said.

We know that the world is pounding harder and harder to condemn those that are following Him, believing on Him and trusting in Him.

Satan is using all within his power to drive a wedge between everyone and God; in the process many who are Christians are going to fall away.

However, no matter what the world may say, no matter what satan does against God, His church and us, if we stand fast with God we will be victors in Him.

1 Thessalonians 3:8 For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
