Carla had to work, so Teresa took me to the doc’s yesterday.  After discussion he is changing one of my meds giving me one of the newer ‘discovery’ in hopes that it will do the same job, but not bother my eyes like the current one.
Seems many in our family are catching whatever flu is going around.  Josh was home sick and Deed said she wasn’t feeling well.  Celinda was extremely ill, they went to the ER to make sure it wasn’t something more serious – Steven had the same thing but not as violently ill.  CeeCee stayed with Grandma while they went to the hospital; thus far, she hasn’t caught anything.
Both Carla and I were a bit under the weather.  Seems strange that has winter leaves us, some of the maladies normally associated with it attack.
This, too, shall pass.
Mark 13:26  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
If you heard that Jesus has arrived, how would you receive that statement?
So, what?
Who?
Welcome, come let sit with me?
At last I can be relieved from this morass of a sinful world?
Happy and eager to see Him?
I must hide because I can’t face Him?
Turn Him away?
For almost 2000 years Christians have looked at the sky to see if Jesus is coming.
Yet, every single day men and women pass away and for them, Jesus has arrived.
And they must address Him, there is no hiding, there is no I don’t want to, there is only the reality of, facing Him.
Many Christians will have great joy and praise for their redemption.  Others will come embarrassed for their life has not reflected a desire to fully live for Him, but they know they are forgiven.
But, thousands of people, every hour must come before Him and be judged by Him; be condemned by Him; and when they go before the Father, be denied by Him.
We never know when He may come in the clouds, or come to us as an individual when we die a physical death.  We need to be prepared, every moment for that eventuality and be able to look with Joy and welcoming arms when we meet Him.
And, we should be weeping over our friends and relatives that are not under the protection of Jesus, that they too shall learn to look forward to His return for them.
Later, Art :-)
